Anchorman for Scriptographer finalized

See the mighty Anchorman in action and judge yourself.
Jonathan Puckey helped me a lot to finalize the script and actually made it a lot more user friendly. Now the script works as intended, no errors and a lot of fun visualizing anchors, handlerpoints as well as handlers.

Posters will be added soon.

Anchorman for Scriptographer

I'm currently working on a little piece of Javascript for Scriptographer. I thought I'd make a few Posters about the Bezier workings of my current Font. Unfortunately I get distracted all the time like Anchorman (working title) does right now. And a nice little booklet about the working process, and Letrasets with the font…
Boy, I'm just not consitent enough for a font project ;)

EDIT:

Kompleted the Script. Here's an example with one of the sketches for the ultra thin minuscule e.

Presently you can adjust the size of anchor points and handler points as well as adjusting width and color of strokes for handlers. I'll have to add a chance to specify stroke widths for anchor and handler points. Or leave it all aside - there's no chance to save options.

EDIT:

anchorman beta (zip, 1 KB)
Here's a Beta, final version will be available on Scriptographer.com

Feltron - personal annual report

Personal annual report of Feltron. Last years report is also available. I don't know who feltron is, his site isn't very helpfull answering that question, but taking a look at the report he's got a sense of humor.

Let the girls power your iPod

Girls and electronics... Here's a useful object coming handy next summer at your local 'baggersee'. A Bikini equipped with photovoltaic pannels and a USB plug. She won't avoid any tanlines, that's for shure, but your electronic gadgetery will run all day long. Hold up though, you don't want to get wet in this one.

Profile Intermedia 9

Speakers: great!
Contents: great speaker - great content!
Workshop: Went to a physical hacking course - grrreat!
Sleeping: I hate hostels, I love couches
Food: Döner is your friend not your boss

Outstanding 1: Silvano Levy, Michael Sutjiadi, Ole Schäfer, Nick Bell, Jan Rikus Hillmann, Harald Siepermann
Outstanding 2: Delaware was totally from outer space, no speaker, no band evoked this strange feeling between dizzyness and complete loss of orientation you'll only have a few times in your life.

No go: There is one speaker I shouldn't listened a single word to - sorry. The Zwiebelfish guy was talking about his great student driven magazine, trying to convince the audience of a "no logo attitude" by sentences like: "Imagine that! Our Students go to big agencies and ask 'em 'did you ever had to refuse a briefing cause of moral issues?' And afterwards people will have a chance to get a job there by getting in contact with agencies in an unsual way. That's a perfect chance for our students"
...got it? Fishy, right!

Thus the whole conference was worth every cent.

Top 10 Lies told to Naive Artists and Designers

Well, it's not listing necessariely lies but a lot of these quotes are heard/ effects were felt by freelancers.
As a student quotes like "Do this for us and you'll get great exposure" The jobs will just pour in!" or "Our budget is XXX dollars, firm" are quite familiar... hopefully yet!
Get smart with the list
