Fucking shite man! I love them! I remember I reard them the first time on radio "fritz" sometime in the 90ies (althought in the internet it's written that "scorpius" was released 2000). I was so amazed! tried to find them for months though napster which increased the MODEM costes and confrontations with my mother.
Cool video though - first time I saw it.

Yeah well, I think they should have sticked to the original material, that film material with bright lights and just them playing on some vinatge synths. I like the other material as well, but you're right - they're not matching. Speaking about VJlike material and the lack of story. I think it's quite o.k. There's no story in the track, so why narrate something in the video? Just three guys surrounded by some toasters and sandwich makers picked from trash and try to make something matching to the music. And it seems they had more than one idea.
I remember a broadcast of a gig on Electronic Beats, back then when VIVA wasn't bought by MTV and their on-air concept was still cool.
In case you like that sketchy style. Have a look at lodown magazine they've done that way back, neasden control (they still do that style) or the radiohead guy... Stanley Donwood! Could be quite interesting.
